Optimizing Patient Management Through Arterys’ Chest I MSK AI Solution at CSE

Optimizing Patient Management Through Arterys’ Chest I MSK AI Solution at CSE

This is a case of a 66 year old woman, referred for pain and functional impotence of the wrist, following a fall.

The patient’s x-ray images didn’t show anything abnormal. However, additional analysis was needed to confirm whether there was a localized rupture of the cortical bone on the front.

By using the Chest I MSK AI solution from Arterys, a fracture was detected. This pathology has been confirmed by a CT scan, as it was initially difficult to identify the fracture, being in a single dorsal side of the bone.

The Chest I MSK AI solution alerted the radiologist about an additional exam to perform, to confirm the fracture detection that explains the patient's symptomatology.
